We are so proud to support Desert Sands Unified School District students with special needs through the Adapted Physical Education (PE) Abilities Program 

Thanks to a generous 2025 grant we received from BIGHORN Cares, adaptive equipment has helped students across Desert Sands Unified build strength, confidence, and mobility throughout the school year.

We were excited to celebrate our students at the Adapted PE Abilities Field Day at Shadow Hills Knights on February 20, 2026, a powerful event that showcases their hard work and is surrounded by families, educators, and a community that truly believes in them. 

The Desert Sands Educational Foundation looks forward to continuing to support and expand opportunities for students with special needs. We would like to thank the community for the support that makes this work possible.
